This reminds me so much of when a haar comes in and the whole world turns monochrome.
I love the shadows cast across the book too :)

Continuing with the filling up of the note book ....



Of course I can't wait for paint to dry - so this melodramatic hedge painting morphed into something more interesting when I shut the book whilst everything was still wet. It looks like a bird or a figure (maybe a Dryade) or feathers or a moth. Either way I really like it.

I'm thinking I could try this with two canvasses as a diptych.
