Blackthorn hedge - just showing, 2011 12" x 24" acrylic on canvas panel

I'm still going through paintings, trying to theme and group.

 

Storm and poppies, 2011 40 x 40cm acrylic on canvas

You could see these poppies for miles.

The cloud banks were fantastic, rolled up between the Cheviot hills and the coast. The colour shifts were just amazing and ever-changing; shafts of incredibly vibrant colour where the sun shone full-on inbetween.

I'm going to be in it!
