No, I didn't win the lottery ... just needed some time out. Not been feeling too well and had to turn down something in particular that I really wanted to do. Never mind (sulk over). Spent an hour clearing out my workspace from the glory-hole it had become. Apologies if you've been in touch and I haven't got back to you.

Happy New Year!

Amongst my Christmas swag I got a swanky Samsung smartphone with a rather nice inbuilt camera. Whilst it won't ever take the place of my beloved Nikon, and it is a bit twiddly - it is really handy. So as I was freezing to death waiting for a train, I took about a million pictures of ruffled puddles.

Whilst it is rather traditional to make giant resolutions and such at the start of a new year - I'm rather taking a micro approach. I had great hopes for doing a some things that I've since decided to step back from. Whether I like it or not - my health and the day job can't be ignored. Having said that I do have a theme and a plan for a new body of work that I'm quite excited about!
