Elaine Phipps

P1080892

I am a UK-based painter working primarily in acrylics and other media to layer landscapes, seascapes and - currently, monolithic forms - on canvas, board and paper. If you need to slap a label on - then lyrical abstraction will cover it.  I'm also embracing aspects of a vestibular disorder that I have developed over the last several years (especially the visual) in my work.

I'm also a monoprinter with a mangle and hate having my photo taken.
